I was at an estate sale yesterday & found a cartoon book by your father: "Memories Of A Former Kid" and purchased it. Fond memories and see the parallel of talent in your family.
First and foremost, my apologies for such a tardy reply (4 years late!). I only recently happened upon the cache of comments in the archives that required my review for publication. How embarrassing. Thanks for your note on finding my father's book. That one was the first of many on bucolic life in the 1920s and 30s. All are now out of print, but copies still surface from time-to-time, and he is still remembered by many in the rural communities of the Midwest.
Editorial cartoons are designed to provoke thought and encourage civil discourse, so comments are welcome. Comments that are abusive or contain vulgarities will not be posted. Thank you for your cooperation.
