A Chance Meeting Worth Noting
Returning from the Midwest recently, I found that a cabin mate was none other than former House Speaker Newt Gringrich. While waiting for our luggage, I had struck up a conversation with one of the other passengers, an attractive, articulate, well-dressed woman. Admittedly, she looked familiar, but I couldn't quite place her. Turns out she was the U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican, Callista Gingrich. So, I had to get a selfie with Mr. Newt — telling him that I had lampooned him as much as some presidents.
