"Landmark Decision" (local issue cartoon)
For several years, a small. scraggly pine tree was growing in the median near Landmark Center Shopping Mall. Locals referred to it as the "Charlie Brown Tree" and modestly decorated it every Christmas season. It became rather a grassroots community tradition. Recently, the City unceremoniously removed it.
